Today in my sound class we were talking about the philosophy concerning digital vs. analog sound.

We spent the majority of the class listening to songs on vinyl then the mp3 version and trying to ‘find the difference’ (analog to analog, analog to digital, then digital to analog). It was lovely.

Apparently (which I didn’t know) the new Arcade Fire album is actually just a recording of the vinyl. ~So hip it hurts~.
